Saugus Records 15 Property Sales as Ballard Street Deal Tops $1 Million

Saugus recorded 15 property sales through the Essex County Registry of Deeds between July 10 and Aug. 8. Six of those sales disclosed a purchase price, ranging from $525,000 for a unit at 12 Longwood Ave. to $1,060,000 for a property at 8 Ballard St., with a median disclosed price of $822,500. Nine sales, including transfers on Lincoln Avenue, Richardson Circle, Bristow Street, Cheever Avenue, Arrowhead Drive and Main Street, carried no listed price, and at least seven of those appear to be transfers within the same family or into a trust rather than open-market sales.
