Saugus recorded 14 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, with 11 carrying a sale price ranging from $40,500 to $950,000 and a median of $630,000. The month's top sale was 33 Highland Ave Lot A at $950,000, sold by James F. Orsini to Oscar E. Nolasco Chavez on Sept. 30. Burrill Street logged two same-day transfers, and three properties, on Susan Drive, Westford Street and Birch Pond Drive, moved into trusts with no price yet recorded. The mix of condominium-style and standalone sales across a broad price range points to steady, varied activity rather than a market tilted clearly toward buyers or sellers.
