Saugus records $12.3 million property sale as deed data show active month for condo transfers
Saugus recorded 14 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, with disclosed prices ranging from $549,000 to $12.3 million and a median of $650,000 among the seven sales that listed a price. The period's standout transaction was 1450 Broadway, which sold for $12.3 million to 1450 Broadway LLC, far exceeding every other recorded sale. Ten of the 14 deeds involved condominium units or subdivided lots, and five showed matching family or trust names between seller and buyer. Seven of the 14 transfers, roughly half, did not disclose a sale price in the deed record.
