Saugus Home Sales Span $400,000 to $890,000 as Trust Transfers Mark Nearly a Third of Deeds

Saugus recorded 13 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, with nine disclosing a sale price ranging from $400,000 to $890,000 and a median of $641,000. The month's top sale was 42 Walnut St. at $890,000, followed closely by 53 Gates Rd. at $875,000. No street had more than one recorded sale. Four of the 13 deeds, nearly a third, were transfers into trusts bearing the same family name and did not disclose a price. More than half the recorded deeds carried unit or "lot" designations, pointing to a mix of condominium and multi-unit properties alongside single-family sales.
