Saugus Planning Board votes to seek peer review for a proposed cannabis retail building at 24 Broadway while deferring action on the long-running 860 Broadway occupancy dispute. At 860 Broadway, Sean McCormick, attorney for the owners of the Granville at Saugus residential development, arrived unannounced seeking occupancy signatures, prompting Chair John O'Brien to say, "I'm so sick of hearing about 860 Broadway" while urging both sides to meet before the next session to resolve the outstanding as-built checklist, which includes a disputed bedroom count of 335 units and an unresolved irrigation condition.
