Board of Assessors approves $50.2 million in real estate and motor vehicle commitments

Saugus Board of Assessors approves $50.2 million in combined commitments. Chairperson David Ricciardelli and members Daniel Kelly and Jennifer D'Eon unanimously approved Real Estate FY2026 commitments of $44,189,380.15, Personal Property commitments of $1,988,924.24, and Motor Vehicle Excise Commitment 2026-01 totaling $4,103,195.34. The board also approved four prior-year motor vehicle re-commitments and authorized Deputy Assessor Iwona Wilt to electronically sign documents on the board's behalf with the state Department of Revenue.
Deputy Assessor Wilt reported to Town Manager Scott Crabtree and Treasurer/Collector Wendy Hatch that no budget increases were requested for FY2027.
