Board approves three business licenses, amends licensing fees

Board of Selectmen · Meeting of July 14, 2026

Saugus Board of Selectmen approves three business licenses and amends licensing fees. The board unanimously granted a taxi/livery license to Fly 14 Livery Services (owner Elias Lambros), a Common Victualer's License to HDR Holdings Massachusetts LLC doing business as Wonder at 259 Essex Street, and a Used Goods License to Pay Tews BOS1, LLC doing business as PayMore at 600 Broadway, Unit B. In policy changes, the board increased the S-2 Special Permit application fee from $100 to $200 and established a new $350 fee for liquor license transfers, which require 22 to 30 hours of processing time.

A bring-your-own-bottle policy was approved with a $150 application fee, renewable annually, subject to compliance with Saugus liquor laws.
