Saugus Library to Restart Adult Craft Night Sept. 1

SAUGUS — Saugus Public Library will restart its Adult Craft Night series Tuesday, Sept. 1, inviting residents to make trinket dishes from oyster shells as the library moves into its fall programming. Two town boards, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Retirement Board, meet later this week, and the library adds two children's playgroups on Aug. 25.

Saugus Public Library announced that Adult Craft Night returns Tuesday, Sept. 1, with participants using oyster shells and Mod Podge to build trinket dishes. Online registration for the session opened Aug. 18 through the library's website, marking the start of the library's shift from summer programming into its fall lineup.

COMING UP

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets Thursday, Aug. 27. The Retirement Board meets Tuesday, Aug. 25. Saugus Public Library hosts two CFCE playgroups at the Saugus Iron Works that same day, a 9:30 a.m. session for children ages 0-2 and a 10:30 a.m. session for ages 3-5.
