Domenic "Dom" Vega, 94, of Saugus, died on June 22, 2026. He was born on January 5, 1932. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Vega, his son Stephen Vega (Claudineia), and his sisters Clara Monfalcone, Josephine Scavo, and Rose McCashion. He is survived by his grandchildren Stacy Vega Simpson and Alyssa Nolette; his great grandchildren Brenden, Jacob, and Zachary; his sister Annette "Vega" Higgins of Melrose; and his nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St, Melrose. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St, Saugus. David Angelo "Cappy" Capobianco, of Saugus, died on June 24, 2026. He is survived by his wife Lola Capobianco (Vlahos); his sons Cole and Ethan; his brother Paul Capobianco (Paul Doughty) of Florida; and his nephews Steven Vlahos and Mark W. Vlahos (Jessica). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St, Medford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway W, Medford. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, per the family's wishes.
