Board of Selectmen approves four permits and extends two special permits

Saugus Board of Selectmen unanimously approves five permit extensions and business licenses. Chair Debra Panetta, Vice Chair Anthony Cogliano, and Selectmen Jeff Cicolini, Michael Serino, and Frank Federico voted to extend special permits for M&W Trust's 198-unit Broadway development for both six and twelve months, and for Aggregate Industries' quarry operations for six months. The board also approved a Common Victualer's License for Captain Vito's Fresh Seafood LLC d/b/a Golden Carafe Café at 1201 Broadway, the Saugus Lions Club can drive on June 6, and the Little League Parade with a rain date of April 12 or 18.
Tom Travers was reappointed and Jeffrey V. Moretti was appointed to the Board of Appeals for three-year terms expiring March 31, 2029, both unanimously.
